The vinyl contains recordings of well known-sections of the St Basil’s Liturgy including “Through the pleadings”, “May their holy blessings” aswell as special recordings of the Long Kyrieleyson (Lord have Mercy) and “Hosanna in the Highest” chanted on Palm Sunday

St. Archdeacon Habib Cozman Girgis was a modern-day dean of the
Catechetical School of Alexandria. He dedicated his life to the seminary and
its improvement.
One of his most beautiful writings is called “Mystery
of Godliness” where he writes about Jesus being our "All in All"

In 1932, King Foad convened a conference of Arabic music comprising of musical contributions from many countries in the from Middle East . Scholars from both East and West physically attended the conference. Of particular interest the Coptic Church made contributions to this conference through Ragheb Moftah & Cantor Mikhail el Batanony and his choir. Amongst the troves of arabic music recordings is a very special gem - the oldest choral and singular recordings of Coptic Hymns known to exist. Original gramaphone recordings are housed as a French Antiquity. Conference details can be found at this site . Coptic recordings appear on discs 19 and 20.
